New York City, NY: Peggy Pederson Artley, 67 passed away at her residence in New York City, N.Y. on January 28, 2008. Peggy was born in Los Fresnos, TX on March 26, 1939. She graduated from Durham Business College in Harlingen and worked for the Law Offices of Herrick & Feinstein LLP in New York City, N.Y. and Dallas, TX. Peggy is preceded in death by her Husband: Jack Artley; Father: Oren Pederson; Sister and brother-in-law: Ruby Jean and Dick Cheshire, Sister: Billie Gunsul and Brother-in-law: Robert Dorris. She is survived by her Mother: Bernice Pederson of Hope, AK and Los Fresnos, TX; Sister: Joan Dorris - Leakey, TX; Sisters and brother-in-laws: Wanda and Tom Duncan of Hope, AK and Barbara and Buford Joe Wyatt of Hewitt, TX.; Step daughter: Meleah Artley of Santa Fe, New Mexico; In addition, Peggy is survived by her Cousins: Paul Pederson of San Antonio, TX, Larry Holland of Chillicothe, IL, Jimmy Holland of Flatonia, TX and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Monday at 2:00 p.m. 02/04/08 conducted by Buford Joe Wyatt at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, TX Words of comfort may be left to Peggy's family at www.thomaegarza.com.
