Estela Hernandez Mendiola, 52, of San Benito went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 in San Benito, Texas.

She was born to Pedro G. Hernandez and Eva Cedillo Hernandez on September 4, 1965. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Pedro G. Hernandez and Eva Cedillo Hernandez; one brother, Alfonso Hernandez as well as one sister Elizabeth Hernandez.

Estela is survived by her loving husband, James Sexton, siblings; Peter (Teresa) Guerrero, Susie (Billy) Pacheco, Juan (Maria) Hernandez, Eunice (Eligio) Vasquez, Oralia Hernandez, Sam Hernandez, Israel (Susana) Hernandez and Jerry (Maria) Hernandez as well as other relatives.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at  7:00 p.m. at Thomae Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. in accordance to her wishes cremation to follow.
