Amalia “Analia” Martinez Vargas, 44, of Houston, Texas, took her last breath at 12:35 on October 31, 2017 in South Padre Island, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her father, Hector Martinez and brother, Hector Martinez Jr.

Analia is survived by her mother, Carmen Martinez; three children, Micheal Leared , Andrew Ramirez, and Jenelle Ramirez; one brother, Joseph Martinez; four sisters, Caroline Martinez (Tony) Villarreal, Gracie Martinez, Carmen Martinez (Michael) Garza and Jenna Martinez; one granddaughter, Jenessa Ramirez and other relatives.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito Texas.

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church at 705 S. Longoria Street in Port Isabel Texas and burial to follow at Port Isabel City Cemetery in Port Isabel, Texas.
