Obituary of Guadalupe Lara

Guadalupe Lara, 68, of El Ranchito, Texas, passed away on September 18, 2017, in Knoxville, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her husband Catarino Lara, her parents; Apolinar and Guadalupe Hernandez, and one sister; Maria Elena Rangel.

Guadalupe is survived by her children; Kathy (Jaime) Vega, Carlos (Maria C.) Lara, Juan F. Lara, Teresa Lara, Ezequiel (Monica) Lara, Jaime (Crystal) Lara and Lupita Lara; 27 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one sister and seven brothers.

Visitation will be held  on Friday, September 22, 2017, from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.

Chapel service will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 10:00 a.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home with burial to follow at Garza Cemetery in San Benito, Texas.
