Obituary of Aurora Garza Saldivar

Aurora Saldivar, 79, of Rio Hondo, Texas passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 in Rio Hondo, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Angel Saldivar, her son, Daniel Saldivar as well as her parents; Manuel and Olivia Garza.

Aurora is survived by her children; Sonia Saldivar, David (Elva) Saldivar, Elizabeth (Tom) Mathis, Eric (Yesenia) Saldivar and Ronald (Monica) Saldivar, grandchildren; Michael Castillo, John Castillo, Ashley Atkinson, David Saldivar Jr., Aaron Saldivar, Eric Saldivar, Mathew Saldivar, Amy Saldivar, Samantha Saldivar, Mia Saldivar, and Dani Saldivar, 2 great-grandchildren; Allison Atkinson and Alayana Atkinson; and her siblings: Elizabeth Murphy, Manuel Garza Jr., Loretto Garza, Luciano Garza, and Irene Garza.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 4, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Assembly of God Church located at 213 Madero Street in Rio Hondo, Texas. Interment will follow at Rio Hondo Community Cemetery in Rio Hondo, Texas.
