Obituary of Jose C. Araiza

Jose C. Araiza, 66, of Los Fresnos/Bishop. Texas, passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2017 in Brownsville, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Clara Araiza; three sons: Jose (Cristina) Araiza Jr., Omar (Nina) Araiza, and David (Carole Ann) Araiza; five siblings: Emma Gonzalez, Juan Araiza, Humberto Araiza, Yolanda Araiza, Lorena Echevarria; three grandchildren: Addison Araiza, Nathaniel Araiza, and Lucia Araiza.

Visitation will begin on Monday, July 17, 2017 from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will continue on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a holy rosary at 7 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home.

Funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Los Fresnos, Texas.  Cremation will follow in accordance with his wishes.

Serving as pallbearers: Jose Araiza, Jr., Omar Araiza, David Araiza, Jorge Hernandez, Ricardo Gonzalez, Humberto Seija.
