Francisco B. Garcia, 93, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2017.

He was preceded in death by his mother Regina Garcia, father; Francisco Benavidez, his daughter Elvira Ortega and his son Ernesto Benavidez.

Left to cherish his memory are his six sons; Roberto Benavidez, Abel Benavidez, Enrique Benavidez, Ricardo Benavidez, Gilbaldo Benavidez and Raul Cervantes , four daughters; Elvia Torres, Margarita Benavidez, Celia Benavidez and Gloria Rios as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 2, 2017 from 11:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M., with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M., at Thomae Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.

Chapel services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Thomae Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. Cremation will follow in accordance with his wishes.
