Aurelio C. Davila, 73, of La Paloma, Texas, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017. Mr. Davila was a soldier with the Mexico military and held the rank of sub-lieutenant. He was preceded in death by his parents, Guadalupe and Maria De Refugio Davila; one sister Gloria Davila Cantu; and two brothers, Santos Davila and Guadalupe Davila. Aurelio is survived by his loving wife, Consuelo Davila; children: Raquel (Gilberto) Ochoa, Rebecca (Andres Sandoval) Davila, Mariana Davila, Lucia Davila (Kevin) Hurley, Solomon (Christina) Davila, Santos Davila, Aurelio Davila Jr., Juan Davila, and Pablo Davila; as well as 45 grand-children; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Pedro Davila and Eduardo Davila; four sisters: Oralia Davila Rodriguez, Maria De La Luz Davila Martinez, Maria Del Refugio Davila Mejia; and Maria Elena Davila Leos as well as Elida Villarreal Davila and Alejandro Lopez-Ortiz. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at St Joseph's Catholic Church. Burial will follow at La Paloma Cemetery in La Paloma, Texas.
