Federico Flores, 71, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 in Harlingen, Texas. He was preceded in death by his son: Albert Flores; parents: Celso and Lucia G. Flores; daughter in law: Cindy Flores; granddaughter: Vanessa Nicole Flores; four sisters: Valia Flores, Bertha Espinosa, Irene Padilla and Lydia Moreno; as well as two brothers: Jose Flores and Ernesto Flores. Federico is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Matilde L. Flores; his two daughters: Sally Flores and Ashley Nava; one son: Jesse Nava; one grandchild; Samantha Flores; two sisters: Olga Torres and Juanita Flores as well as one brother Alfredo Flores. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 3, 2017 at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church. With burial to follow at Las Rusias Cemetery.
