Joe G. Corkill, 83 of San Benito, Texas passed away peacefully in the presence of his family at Solara Hospital in Harlingen, Texas. Mr. Corkill was born on December 24, 1923 in San Benito, Texas and remained here all of his life. Mr. Corkill is survived by his Wife of 56 years; Maria Teresa Corkill - San Benito, Tx Daughter: Patricia Lilia Corkill (Luis) Garcia - San Antonio Tx Numerous nieces and nephews and Sister: Licha Corkill Lira - Rosemead, Calif. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, July 18, 2007 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary scheduled for 7:00 p.m. His funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2007 at St. Benedict Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Mont-Meta Memorial Park.
