Port Isabel, Texas: Emilio Pinto Novelo, 75 of Port Isabel, Texas passed away on December 4, 2006 at Harlingen Nursing Home. Emilio lived in Port Isabel most of his life and was a member of Our Lady Star of Sea Catholic Church. He was in the shrimping industry for most of his life. He is preceded in death by his Mother, Ester Pinto, Father, Enrique Novelo, Sister, Concepcion N. Gabourel, and Nephew, Austin Gabourel. He is survived by his cousins; Maltide Pinto Sanchez and Petra Pinto both of Port Isabel, nephews and nieces; Roberto Gabourel, Gilberto Pinto, Dylbia Lee Pinto, Griselda Pinto, Alexander Pinto and Christopher B. Pinto. Visitation will be held today Wednesday December 6, 2006 from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito and from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Port Isabel. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday December 7, 2006 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Port Isabel with interment to follow to Port Isabel City Cemetery.
