San Benito, Texas Teresa Garcia, 87, entered into eternal life on Monday, July 03, 2006 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas. She was born on October 15, 1918 in Las Rusias, Texas and was a lifetime resident of San Benito, Texas and a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. She is survived by her son: Gabriel Garcia of San Benito, TX, 7 daughters: Guadalupe Delgadillo of San Benito, TX, Elvira Leal of Weslaco, TX, Refugia Rodriguez of Baytown, TX, Maria Pineda of Corpus Christi, TX, Esmeralda Mendoza of Harlingen, TX, Margarita Zuniga of Progresso, TX, and Francisca Villarreal of San Benito, TX; 265 Grandchildren, 60 Great Grandchildren, and 55 Great Great Grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Husband: Marcelino Garcia, Parents: Niceforo & San Juana De La Garza, Daughter: Maria Elida Aceves, 5 Brothers: Niceforo, Florentino, Manuel, Carlos, and Andres De La Garza, and 1 Sister: Marina De La Garza. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2006 from 3:00 pm. To 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm. in the North Chapel, visitation will resume on Thursday, July 6, 2006 as of 8:00 am with a 2:00 pm chapel service with Deacon Paul McArdle of Brownsville, Texas officiating. The interment will follow to Mont-Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.
